EZ Eddie Z., Guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer. His new album features his acoustic ability with a country/rock edge. Eddie grew up surrounded by musical talent. His southern roots can be accredited to his grandfather, country legend Eddie King, who was one of the driving forces in Eddie’s life. Though he always called New Jersey home, Eddie spent much of his childhood experiencing music first hand through-out the United States and Canada because of his father’s influence.His true encouragement came from his father, another country legend and famous producer for Sony Records, Doc Holiday, who insisted that his son be learned in all musical instruments. As a result, EZ Eddie Z, began to self-teach himself from the age of four. Though he can play any instrument, guitar and lead vocals are his forte. He has toured the US and Canada and has been fortunate enough to share his talents on stage with artists like Karizma, Grand Funk Railroad, Waylon Jennings, Sha Na Na, Rick Derringer, Sebastian Bach, Nicky Capozzi from White Lion, John “JD” DeServio from Black Label Society and Mike Romeo from Symphony X. And he had his own success with his bands Drop Jaw and Emblessed. He accredits his variety to his dad’s influence of country and doowop always in the house. And his rock/metal background comes from his growing up with New Jersey roots. EZ EDDIE Z is a Global Music Award Winner and a Grammy nominee for his recently released song “PROMISE LAND”, recorded at SONY in Nashville,Tennessee.
